Akinomaki 40,359 Posted September 12, 2020 I can't put these into the off-topic thread. Ex-Horyu, Mr. Asai is the one who introduced Hakuho to Miyagino-beya, when nobody wanted him. Hakuho then stayed at the Osaka logistic company Settsu Warehouse www.settsu-soko.co.jp/service/sumo.html. Asai joined Miyagino-beya after graduation from Kindai and retired after 3 years due to elbow injury and more. He returned to Osaka and started to teach sumo to kids. Now he is the chairman of the Osaka city sumo federation. http://mainichi.jp/articles/20200911/k00/00m/050/115000c 2

He expressed his regret to his supporters that he had never quite made it to sekitori level (he topped out at Makushita 4 just recently in January). He will now work for a clothing company in Tokyo which makes/sells baby equipment makes children's clothing. Maybe that wasn't the right thing for him. "Doctors had told me, at 40 the wheelchair", but now Ex-Tochitsubasa is fit enough to be sumo coach for the kohai from his old primary and middle school in Tsuruta town (where Isegahama went on scouting tour), with the dream that from among them one gets to sekitori. "I'd like to have them continue with sumo at high school and after and challenge in ozumo. My ambition is to have them surpass me." he's in the middle: o
