This took me a while to get up because I had to do a recount of match numbers I had recorded from the East vs West game, since Yubinbaad's kimarite stats number weren't matching with mine. The east won more matches total over the west by a score of 1235-1224. The east also won more times from divisions combined with a score of 42 wins, 38 losses and 10 ties. Unlike last basho, the side that had the most bout wins also win by days too. Jonokuchi saw the west be dominant with winning 10 days, and Juryo saw the east be dominant with 10 winning days. The most lopsided single day of any division was on day 12 in Jonidan when the east side had a 34-18 record, showing a commanding 16 match advantage. Jonokuchi had the highest winning percentage for one side with 59.34%, while Sandame had the lowest winning percentage with 51.15%. As a whole, the east won the most days with 8, the west won 6 days, and there was 1 tie on senshuraku (63-63). The highest winning percentage by side on a single day was the east on day 14 with 55.20%. The lowest winning percentage by side on a single day excluding the tie was the east on day 4 with 50.29%. I'm left with a question: is this E vs W by bouts fought on the day, or by rikishi rank? Say M10W and M11W are slated to fight. The lower ranked rikishi will fight from the east. I look it up and calculate them based on the order they are fought on the torikumi. I also use that for the basis of my East vs West game. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
