The former Daishoryu  x.com/daishoryu_sauna, tsukebito of Endo in makuuchi for 8 years, will open a sumo concept "Sauna Yokozuna" x.com/Sauna_Yokozuna with restaurant in Kawagoe-city, in "ko-Edo Kawagoe", opening planned for November. Endo on the last day of Daishoryu's career defeated ozeki Takakaisho and in the interview dedicated his win to him. He was plagued by neck and ankle injuries and went to a sauna as part of treatment. That he lost over 80kg in 6 months after he decided to retire he also contributes to sauna, from after Kyushu 2020 till intai Natsu 2021 down to 90kg, then plagued by diabetes, which is now gone. Kawagoe is the place where the soil for the dohyo for the main basho is extracted and regular jungyo location with close connections to sumo. Many rikishi are sauna fans, esp. Hokutofuji and Hakuoho. Ex-Daishoryu now aims to become a yokozuna of the sauna world.

After intai he worked at the Soka health centre yunoizumi.com/souka/ near the heya - the only heya located in Saitama, which has onsen and sauna - he went there for treatment while active

I wonder who this might by

Tabloid Weekly Spa! has a series about delinquent foreigners - foreigners causing problems on SNS are in the focus in the Japanese low level media now. This is about an ex-rikishi from Mongolia, in his 40s now, 24 years in Japan, arriving at age 16, involved in trouble in the heya and had to retire in his late 20s - I guess one of the yaocho scandal expelled, Hoshihikari, Koryu (likely still not that slim) and Hakuba might just fit the description. 4 times arrested for violence, having run a company for foreign trade, without income and now he has married his Japanese girlfriend, who he says saved him.

How much can we rely on the numbers in the description?  24+16 = 40, so BD 1983-1985; arriving at 16 (no schooling at that time), so HD 1999-2001; retire in late 20's, so intai in 2009-2015.  Daiyubu, Hakuba, Hoshizakura, Koryu, Mokonami, Hoshihikari, Daitensho fit from the db, but I imagine folks on this Forum can figure it out from the other clues.

Ex-Hokutoiwa is back in Iwamizawa, Hokkaido now and works at the farm of his parents, which he will take over in the future together with his elder brother. Intai last September after nerve damage in the neck. As an after-effect his grip strength has deteriorated, but it doesn't hinder him at his work.
