Alas!  They only had about ten wonderful songs in their songbook.  You can find their 50th anniversary concert on Youtube -- Judith Durham still has a magnificent voice.

I remember lending my copy of the freshly released album 'Vision Thing' to a workmate of mine, who promptly returned it and inquired me since when I've been contemplating suicide.

Sisters of Mercy: More -- This was good.  I see it reached #1 in 1990 on the US Alternative list.  Since I wasn't alternative at that time, I don't remember hearing it, but it's a well-made song.

I listened to the Chage & Aska song with the brothers in background: smooth and melodic, very R&B.  Have heard several DCT songs, including this one; a very long-lived band/duo.   I will try to sample some of the others.

One of the pleasures of the Japanese series Shinya Shokudo was its music.  The Intro for all three seasons was the haunting Omoide.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4nT5-ouBEA

The outro songs for each season were also great:

1) MAGIC PARTY Believe in Paradise     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRgBLfphsdY

2) 嘘のつき方 (Uso no Tsuki Kata), by LOVE LOVE LOVE     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsnLGKtSfG4

3) Yu Takahashi Yakimochi   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKQYM-ZgZrs

Powerful lyrics, very moving song. Impossible not to shed a tear as far as I'm concerned.
Edited on February 24th. I realized that I posted a remix in the first place. This is the original version, better to my opinion. Few interesting differences, including some growling which gives it even more power.

WinterSun -- Loneliness:  A little slow in the beginning, but I stuck with it and the second half was very powerful.

I guess if I want a song about grinding bleak cold, I'm going to hire a Finn for sure.

I've listened to Naomi Chiaki (great voice), GODIEGO (OK; I think this band inspired MONKEY MAJIK), and Kaientai (very good); I will press on!

This is chilling, wonderful!  I have heard Hiroko Shimabukuro's version on her Okinawa-based album, but this is even better.

Really? For both songs? Strange, he's American and video is from his yt channel! Try link below maybe?

Oh, I can find plenty of his songs on Youtube.  "The End of the Innocence is an old favorite of mine (though I always think it's a Don Henley song), and I love "Mandolin Rain".  His most well-known song is "That's the Way it Is", which is the one you may have posted, but I can't see the video.

The second video, of course, was a link, which I could open.

The first link was to "The way it is" indeed. Yes, "The end of inoocence" was composed by both Don Henley and Bruce Hornsby. I wanted to share the link I posted cause I like this version by Bruce Hornsby.

I agree, he has many good songs, I like him as an artist.
