Kaiowaka clinches his first Yusho since the onset of Covid and Athenayama finishes second - getting successive Jun-Yushos. Is it too early to talk about a FAWL Ozeki for Athenayama? A strong showing in Kyushu might just be enough to tip the scales after a solid string of kachi-koshi performances. Athenayama also takes the Kanto-sho and Shukun-sho., with Kaiowaka claiming the Fus and Terarno the Abudi award. In other major news - this must be the first make-koshi for our sole Yokozuna Flohru since I started administering the game - everyone expects a strong bounce-back in Kyushu.
