Senkoho 552 Posted February 10, 2022 (edited) Hi all (long time no see!), A few years ago I saw a video on Youtube of Ikioi (I'm 95% sure it was him) singing a song with a female singer. It was a fairly dynamic Japanese song in a minor key. As for the lyrics, I'm basically clueless, the only thing I'm almost sure of is that at some point there is "....(maybe a city or some other location?)...の女" in the lyrics, it's this one tiny bit stuck in my head... If I remember correctly, Ikioi was standing on the right and the female singer on the left. I can't find it on Youtube but maybe someone here will just know what I'm talking about and be able to help me out :) Cheers! I've always enjoyed tracking down Youtube videos of rikishi singing. However, this doesn't ring a bell. I'm used to hearing him sing alone. If you could please describe everything you remember about them singing together, that might jog someone's memory. If it was part of the NHK Charity TV show that is broadcast once a year, those videos tend to be deleted shortly after the broadcast. On all of those shows, there are always duets between rikishi and female stars, The female stars are dressed in evening gowns or beautiful kimono and are often older than the rikishi. I remember the chorus as being fairly loud, with some drums etc. I found this song and I'm hearing some similarities but I'm almost sure it was NOT this one.
