MidnightAgent 16 Posted March 10, 2022 I've been mostly lurking here, but I want to say hello. I've been following sumo since July 2020, and this forum has helped me catch up on many things I missed. The depth and quantity of good information and discussion here is quite impressive. I watch almost every bout on all 15 days of the ozumo tournaments, in addition to university sumo. I keep detailed notes about many lower-division wrestlers, so this forum is a blessing. I'm particularly a fan of Suzaki, Baraki, and Oazuma (despite his recent downturn). I want to thank Akinomaki, Katooshu and many others for years of reporting on the Grand Sumo recruits and amateur sumo participants. Being able to search up and read about someone's school day accomplishments and initial impressions, even years later, is a joy. Wow, so that means you knew him when he had hair! I'm jealous that you got to see his rise to makushita. His flamingo-like body is both a curse and a blessing. He's a rikishi unlike any other. Hey there. Welcome! Yeah, this forum has helped immensely when it comes to finding info about lower division favourites. Where else can I find out that Dewanojo has a fondness for cream-filled pastries, or find multiple pictures of Baraki standing on his tip toes to pass the height requirement?
