The caption says he retires with this as his last basho - the actual retirement will surely be at his birthday, when he reaches the mandatory retirement age. Kotochitose is still on the list of wakaimonogashira, so he hasn't retired yet.

Canceled to prevent infections, Mitakeumi was lucky to have a parade after the long break, maybe next basho again - but celebrations with supporters were only at the heya. Most basho restrictions get dropped now, car town Nagoya with full house allowed will surely also have a parade again.

I didn't realize that ex-Sokokurai is his sisho, cool. Is he one of the youngest* stablemasters to produce a yusho? 

*In terms of the amount of time being an oyakata.

In terms of amount of time as a stablemaster (as opposed to just oyakata), no one could beat Chiyonoyama, who split off after Hatsu 1967, and his uchi-deshi ozeki Kitanofuji won the yusho the basho after.

FYI: Currently the youngest stablemasters are: Nishonoseki/Kisenosato, Takekuma/Goeido, Tokitsukaze/Tosayutaka, Arashio/Sokokurai, Naruto/Kotooshu, Onomatsu/Daido, Takasago/Asasekiryu; all born in the 1980's.
