Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe Assasinated during speech in Nara

Recommended Posts

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been shot during a campaign speech in Nara, with reporting states he is showing no vital signs. Local (Australian) news outlets are stating that in Japan, 'no vital signs' is usually used in reporting when a person has died, though they stressed this needs to be confirmed. Extremely sad, either way as per below, his death has now been confirmed.

A man in his 40's was immediately arrested at the scene.

Very strange thumbnail with big smile on everyone's face while the news are not so good...

It's their constant 24/7 Livestream to be fair, but yes, doesn't suit the current situation.

It's now confirmed, the former PM Shinzo Abe has passed away. Very sad for him, his family and all of Japan.
