Kozaburo used to serve as a tsukebito to former sanyaku gyoji Kimura Tamamitsu. When he retired he gave two of his outfits to Kozaburo, who had to keep them in storage until his promotion this basho. This outfit was a favourite of Tamamitsu and his family, who are happy to see it on the dohyo again. Kozaburo got to know them after Tamamitsu died in 2017, when he visited his grave. Koorifuu 1,020 Posted April 13, 2023 (edited) It made him feisty, too - you could expect plenty of harite being thrown during his bouts. Osanai in particular was very dazed when leaving the dohyo. Edited April 13, 2023 by Koorifuu
