It's different in the Japanese original, I'll bet.

English would allow for some variations --

Oyakata: "So, are your knees feeling great?"

Terunofuji: "Nah, just 'OK'."

Oyakata to Press: "His knees are OK."

I guess ok in this context could mean "not worse than usual". However the usual state of his knees is not what you'd exactly call OK...

The oyakata didn't tell the truth, so maybe he also lied about the knees
