UDH Hatsu Basho 2024

Recommended Posts

Hello gamers,

the UDH entry form is ready now, and waiting for your selections. Rules in a (very small) nutshell: Guess the thirteen makuuchi rikishi you expect to have the fewest wins this basho.

You may submit your entry at http://udh.seisa.de/udh_index.html.

Once you have selected your team, please root for them as much as you can. The game was not intended to honor any failure, but to stimulate interest in the less successful rikishi.

The deadline for your entries will be the first day of the basho (Sunday, January 14th) at 12pm Japanese Time.

Good luck!

Wow! Fashiriteta managed to achieve 39 points on Day 2! It's been quite a while since someone had a perfect Day in UDH, I guess.

Already wanted to mention it yesterday, thanks for reminding :-) The only other 39 in this decade (so far) was in Aki Basho 2020, on day 11 by Joaoiyama.

The third day of the running basho also has a nice high score: Gusoyama added a nice 38 to this basho's tally.

Day 5 Standings

After high scores of 36, 39 ad 38 in the first three days there was a rather low 31 yesterday. Today we (well, Kintamayama) closed the gap and posted the missing 37.

@Tamanaogijima Clicked the link, no Day 5

Days 5 and 6 are there, I promise. Please also try reloading the result frame and not only the whole page.

Final Standings

Hatsu 2024 was a high scoring basho with a winning score of 420 points. The last time that the score was considerably above the 400 mark was a 411 in 2021, before that we have to look back all the way until 2015. The last day of the running basho was a nice one as well, with a high score of 38 by Hironoumi.
