Hopefully he's in for this basho. I like Kirishima but I'd still like to see him have to (at least somewhat) go through Terunofuji to get a Yokozuna promotion.

It's "potayto, potahto" for me.

If he sticks it out for the basho, the question is, "Can he make Kirishima work for his prize (or keep him from it)?

If he doesn't, we may be asking, "Who's the first post-Terunofuji-era Yokozuna?"
