First Ukrainian Makuuchi rikishi Shishi went for degeiko to Nishonoseki beya where he faced  Shirokuma and Makushita Hananoumi and was 14-3. He faced both of them yesterday as well and was 13-2. He then borrowed Nishonoseki Oyakata's chest for a two minute and a half butsugari session. "Being able to borrow the Yokozuna's chest made me extremely happy, (ureshishi, a fun pun he used)" he said. "He is strong.." said Nishonoseki later.His Japanese isn't that good yet, and when he doesn't understand something he answers with "Are no are" (that of that). Just so you know.

Terunofuji came to the keikoba today but mostly stood around talking with ex=Hakuhou and eventually left on his bike. They say he has not trained. I say he continues with the 121. Definitely out of Kyushu.

actually he has trained - he did a dohyo-iri in Tamana at a kids tournament

Houshouryuu was at the Tokitsukaze rengo keiko as well, facing  Kirishima (4-3), Wakamotoharu, Wakatakakage, Shoudai and others and was 16-3. He hasn't yushoed since Nagoya last year. "I've been training well during the the Autumn jungyo and after and am feeling good. I want to win that yusho for the first time in a while.." he explained  Kirishima himself, aiming for a return to Ozeki this basho (needs 13 wins) had the most bouts among the sekitori- 25. He showed a lot of confidence and the neck pain seems to be a thing of the past. "I'm thinking of the possible re-promotion, sure, but if I think only of that, my body will become weak.. I will be concentrating on each bout at hand and will count my wins after the final day, " he said.
