In 2024, two yushos were won by a Yokozuna, one by an Ozeki, one by a Sekiwake, one by a Komubi, and one by a rikishi ranked at M17E!.

What about 2025?

Which ranks do you think will win the Makunouchi yushos in 2025?

Please write your predictions in the comments below.

Please also mention which rikishi (give names!) and their ranks you think will actually win the yushos (and how many).

This will be used as a tie-breaker (if needed) to decide the yusho winner for this poll at the end of the year.

4, 1, and 1. I think the current ozeki crop will dominate the year as they push for their ropes. January usually gives a bizarre result and Wacky Aki is sometimes a thing.

Onosato 2 x O

Onosato 4 x Y.

In reality I think Onosato does probably get 3-4, Kotozakura and Hoshoryu 1-2 each. I'll say..

OFFICIAL GUESS:
Onosato 3
Hoshoryu 2
Kotozakura 1

Terunofuji - 1

Onosato - 3 (possibly one as a Yokozuna)

One of either Kotozakura or Hoshoryu....  Okay Hoshoryu

So, five in total from Ys and Os (like the old days).

One surprise yusho from the lower half of the division..... Aonishiki????
