Jakusotsu 5,981 Posted January 19 Any idea why it's Onosato-Daieisho instead of Hoshoryu-Abi on day 9? The only reason I can think of is they wanted the Sanyaku matchup in the musubi-no-ichiban, but that's a stretch.

Though really, there's two different decisions that go into that question: why Daieisho, and why Onosato. 10. Wakamotoharu I suspect we'll be playing even farther down the banzuke next time--Ura's got a bad week coming.

Given how many sanyaku matches are theoretically left, the schedule lines up pretty cleanly. Once Wakamotoharu and Kotozakura fully shit the bed and become (probably) unacceptable opponents for sanyaku contenders, it's gonna go full chaos, but we're not there yet. Jejima 1,398 Posted January 19 10 - This is SO annoying. I thought that my choice of Wakamotoharu was going to be a 'genius' pick - but it just appears to be part of the train. However, there are so many possibilities involving yusho contenders, I am only a little above 50% confident with this pick.
