Ganzohnesushi Degenerate isn't really an insult here, though. At least, when it comes to betting games of skill (which Odd Sumo very much is), degen is often playful and thrown at players who overall do quite well. I seem to have developed quite the knack for inadvertently offending the German gamers. Also I watched your tier list video from the last basho and it inspired me to switch my Roto pick from Kinbozan to Shonannoumi. But even with one win added final results by Sanyaku ranked players and those in Jōi-jin ranks were rather bad. Consequence is a significant reduction of Sanyaku from 11 to only 6 players. Then again the new Banzuke for Haru'25 might look a bit weird. Let's have a look at Pandaazuma to give you a nice example. The Panda finished 7-8 as M6w and with one win added he achieves a small KK. Now you expect him to climb up the Banzuke but his new rank will be M7e. No need to be disappointed or upset when you simply look at the rank numbers. M6w in Hatsu was ranked #23 while on the new Banzuke M7e means the Panda will find himself ranked #19. What at first glance seems to be a demotion is a step up by two full ranks. Weird, no? On the other hand apologies to @Kintamayama, his 7-8 ---> 8-7 will give him a really small promotion in mid Makushita gaining only 1,5 ranks. No vengeance, it is simply bad luck for him as in this Banzuke area a couple of players achieved excellent results, thus passing him.
