Thanks all for your help on GTB

After that, i want to take part in one to two games about the actual tournament, maybe one game before start and one during the basho.

I have seen, that there are a lot of games and i do not know in which to participate.

Could you recommend two, that are, well easy if you dont have so much knowledge about the lower ranks, especially Juryo ?

My favorite before basho games are the two Hoshitori. Here you just pick who you think will do best/worst in the Makuuchi ranks during the basho and enjoy the ride:

I ashamed myself last basho by doing well at UDH. I had been threatening to break below Juryo, but stupid Musoyama sent me to M6. Jerk.

As for during-basho games, the ISP is probably the easiest to join and play. Here you just have to pick the winner of a Makuuchi bout each day during the basho. Another would be Chain Gang where you try to pick winners until you fail. I am quite bad at these, too:

Finally, if you want a bit more to do each day, try Sekitoro-Toto. Here you try to pick the winners of each day's Makuuchi and Juryo bouts (with a bit more strategy beyond this). Even if you don't know a lot about the Juryo ranks or the like, the provided matchup summary pages can often let you guess semi-informedly. Or just guess blind, you'll do better than me:

Check out "Sumo Game" or "Bench Sumo" (these pit you against other players, and are simple yet fun and don't invlove Juryo rikishi) if you prefer something less competative then.....well your on you own there! lol cheers! -

My two favourite daily games are Bench Sumo and Sekitori Toto. Sekitori Toto takes a bit more effort than the other games since you have to pick winners in 30+ matches, but its also very rewarding.

Rotosumo is probably my pre-basho favourite.

I will participate in Hoshitori, UDH, ISP, Chain-Gang and Toto.

I for myself like especially the ISP and Chain-Gang because as a dummy, you can think, that you are really great, winning the first round.

Of course approximately 85% won the first round, but i easily ignore that and feel good.

I know you made your decision Asamoe but I highly reccomend you add Bench sumo next time because if you dont you will regret it later-I did!

As you know, Fujisan, there are lot of Sumo Games to play (19?) and as a beginner, i can not start with all of them. But i think, i will tr it next time.

BTW, would i also be in the first after two days like in Chain Gang ?
