Hungarians - European Mongolians

if i'm not mistaken hungarians /i mean majars/ got to be mongolians. Am i wrong...? at least majars have mongolian blood for sure. Have u ever thought about it? Whatcha think about it? opinions wanted...

A quick googling produces this snippet...

From this I take it that The Mongolians didn't have that much affect on the genetic make-up of the Magyars ;-)

I am sure the Hungarian members of this list will be more than happy to declare how Mongolian they're feeling at this moment!

Well i've heard about a theory that Magyars came from Siberia (not exactly from Mongolia but) I mentioned it somewhere her on Forum but noone adressed that. . I'll have to check into that matter since i am writing off the top of my head right now.

Well here it is , in a nutshell.

This theory claims that the Hungarians originated from primitive Siberian hunter-gatherer nomads who wandered Westward and who acquired a higher culture upon coming into contact with Indo-Europeans and other peoples.

Rather pricky thing, though.

Hungarians (magyars) came from the vicinity of the Ural mountain ( or somewhat west and south of it) some 1100 years ago. (Singing drunk...) (Hugging...) (Kicked by own computer...)
