Itachiyama 119 Posted April 2, 2005 (edited) I would like to refer to Jonosuke's "Gyoji Talk" posting on the ML from December . I was very happy to get the text of the Torikumi announcement of the next day during the nakairi to complete almost everything that's spoken by Gyoji refering to a sumo bout. But there are still some situations of which I'm missing the precise text. 1. Before the Gyoji calls the Rikishi's shikona at the Musubi-no-ichiban, there is a sentence I can't understand exactly. What he says sounds to me like ..."anokazumo itsumimashitara dokoro" kataya Asashoryu, Asashoryu ... Does anybody know what the Gyoji says exactly? 2. Tori-nashi If I remember correctly there is a word before the Gyoji says Torinaoshi? 3. Ketteisen What does he say here? 4. Last three bouts on Senshuraku: When the Gyoji points to the winner he says: Komusubi ni kano + shikona, Sekiwake ni kano and Ozeki ni kano, right? The announcement is the same without mentioning the names of the three gods? (Kamimusubi no kami, Takamimusubi no kami, Amenominakanushi no kami) 5. Last Bout: How calls the Gyoji the winner? He ends with the name of the Yumifuri. When Asashoryu wins, he ends with Asashoryu dai, Oga? What is the meaning of the "dai"?
