Final call for these daily games: Chaingang http://chaingang.sumogames.com/chaingang.html ISP http://isp.sumogames.com/ IMPORTANT!!!You must register for both, even if you've played in the past!!! Deadline - Sunday 14:00 JST. SURPRISE!!!We have a prize for ISP this time, which was kindly donated by last Basho's winner Manekineko. Here are her original words as sent to me: "I'm feeling generous (thanks to that accidental win on last senshuraku),so I'll provide a small prize and hope it becomes a tradition for a yusho winner to provide the prize for the next one (Bench sumo way). Manekineko has spoken". Thank you very much and good luck to all!!
Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted March 7, 2003 I must mention that I find the head to head wins (the numbers in brackets []) in the Chaingang entry form very useful, not just for chaingang but for several other games. Thank you once again Kintamayama-zeki for an excellent concept, game, and effort of administration...
Kintamayama 45,093 Posted March 7, 2003 I must mention that I find the head to head wins (the numbers in brackets []) in the Chaingang entry form very useful, not just for chaingang but for several other games. Thank you once again Kintamayama-zeki for an excellent concept, game, and effort of administration... I am just the administrator- Kofuji the wizard is the one to thank-his work is behind ISP, Chaingang, and of course BenchSumo and Sekitoto. It is his database that brings us endless joy.. Manekineko 200 Posted March 11, 2003 Ah, woe, I knew even as I picked him in Chaingang that Asashoryu isn't the wisest pick today... But I let the 8-0 in previous bouts mislead me. Ah, woe, woe is me. Being in illustrious company of 54 other losers doesn't help much... (Going nuts...)
Doitsuyama 1,185 Posted March 11, 2003 Yeah, I knew it! I avoided Asashoryu for the Chaingang today. The joy is mine! Celebrate! Only problem is, I had Wakanosato.
Fujisan 533 Posted March 11, 2003 When I first saw the results today I went "YES,Takamisikari beats Musoyama, which is a brilliant result for my previously dreadful Rotosumo team(All my Maegashira where 0-2 over the first two days) but then my eyes moved down to see that awful red colour next to Asashoryus opponent and my heart sank,Kyokutenho beats Asashoryu for the first time ever but what can you do? Seven out of eleven of my Roto team won though so lets hope things are gonna pick up for me.
Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted March 11, 2003 I really had a good feeling about my chances at chaingang, too :-/ But that game ended early for me thanks to Kyukotenho :~-( At least I still got the win in benchsumo despite having Asashoryu at the 4 point slot. Other than the Sumo Game (at japan-guide.com), all the other games (chaingang, benchsumo, rotosumo, and sekitori-toto) are the first time for me. I'm having a blast (Laughing...) Thanks again to all the organizers, statisticians, gyoji, etc.
Manekineko 200 Posted March 13, 2003 And today in Chaingang Waka's lost against Waka ;) halved the field... Man, this game is interesting to follow even after you drop out. :-/
Manekineko 200 Posted March 18, 2003 How could I have doubted that the Clash of the Sideburns would be ISP bout? (Laughing...) Nice choice, Guessbusters...
Tokimori 0 Posted March 19, 2003 Have you seen that Chaingang is over for this basho? A winner after 10 days, that's good.
