Itachi 396 Posted September 25, 2005 Congratulations Kintamayama, You deserve this for all your efforts over the years to share information about this division. It is fitting that you and Doitsuyama finish at the top! Thanks for all your help in following the non-sekitori. Itachi
Itachi 396 Posted September 25, 2005 Of course, Kintama-zeki and Dotsuyama are not the only contributors. I appreciate the efforts and generosity of all of you who report on the lower divisions.
Doitsuyama 1,192 Posted September 25, 2005 However, some suggested to create a banzuke after Kyushu based on Aki and Kyushu results. What do you think? Why not rescore the Nagoya basho with the new scoring method, and make a banzuke on that combined with Aki? Most games make the first banzuke after ONE basho, and with much more players. At the current number of players the banzuke could be conquered from bottom to top in like three basho.
Sakana 46 Posted September 25, 2005 Will makushita division be the top of the banzuke ? ^^ I find this idea funny ^^ (but maybe it'll be annoying for Super Banzuke :/)
Asashosakari 19,627 Posted September 25, 2005 Will makushita division be the top of the banzuke ? ^^ I find this idea funny ^^ (but maybe it'll be annoying for Super Banzuke :/) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I doubt the Super Banzuke is anything to worry about, given that the current entry criterion for a new game (IIRC) is that the number of players must be larger than the lowest number of players for an existing SB game. So the Makushita Game is some 100 players short, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. ;-)
Sakana 46 Posted September 25, 2005 I didn't know this rule. Thank you for teaching it to me. ^^;

Doitsuyama 1,192 Posted September 26, 2005 There are some players missing, I think. The Aki result has 21 players, but only 17 have one in brackets in the banzuke.

The table has been corrected as of now.
