Naifuzan

Hi there

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I've been around the forum for a while, but just changed my Shikona from Oshidashi to Naifuzan, so I thought this would be a proper time for a little introduction.

I'm a 20 year old male from Sweden. I've always liked watching sumo if I by chance happened to catch it on eurosport. And in october, when aki basho 2002 was on, I had a sprained foot, disabling me from moving or working. So I had two weeks at home, not doing much.

So after having watched the last 3 days of aki basho on eurosport I started surfing the web looking for sumo pages.

I started learning more and more about the sport and *BAM* I was hooked!

So I've been an active sumo fan since.

Started playing a few sumo games last basho, and will probably continue playing bashos to come.

Great fun!

This forum is a great place for me to learn more about sumo and also get ahold of some of those lovely pictures some of you guys post :-D

Welcome again to the forum, Naifuzan-zeki :-P

Good, we finally have someone from Sweden to speak up when Kotoseiya Yuichi makes various Finland versus Sweden claims :-D

Yes, since I'm such a quiet and lurking forum member, we will of course need others to make the actual arguing :-P

But seriously, if you didn't know that, I'm also Swede, and as far as I know, there are 4 (at least) forum members from Sweden.

Let's see... Yubi, Naifuzan, Tokimori, Hahanoyama, Hasurami, Kyukenzan & Maguroyama come to mind. Probably few more still. Finns are definitely a small minority here, especially against the Swedes. :-D

You're never a minority unless you're Croatian in an Ozumo community... :-D I do my best to spread the word, tho', so who knows.

Welcome once again from me too :-D

There are at least 4 Finns on forum. Rijicho, me, Exil and Hakajusakari are certain. Then a member called "Tumppi" sounds very much like a Finn too...

Wow, I was clueless as to the sheer numbers of the Finns and Swedes (Oops! )

This is great :-(

Because I want to travel to both those countries in the future, and will likely need help to plan my trip :-( :-D

Oh yes, and also Kayanote and... Kogane (?), I think. If only people would give some more details in their profiles... Actually not so few Finns really but only three active ones. Ei hyv

Do you know this site? It's an official site upheld by our Foreign Ministry and probably the best site about Finland in English. Swedes are likely to have a similar service somewhere.

Do you know this site?

That site came up in a google search I did a couple of months ago, but was extremely slow to load (Enjoying a beer...) It appears that's still the case. Thanks anyways!
