Jejima 1,414 Posted January 19, 2006 Tokitsuumi is still in the Yusho race. Tochiazuma may well lose to Osh tomorrow, and Hokutoriki is scheduled to lose to Hakuho. Who does Tokitsuumi get? Kakizoe... So if Tokitsuumi does win that, who can they line him up against over the last few days? He has already met Hokutoriki. The other Yusho contenders will all be facing off against each other over the last two days. He could easily sneak into the play-off Or if results go the right way, eg, Hokutoriki loses to Hakuho and one other and then Osh beats Tochizauma and Asashoryu beats Ama on day 13. Then Osh, Asa, Tochi and Hakuho all get exactly one win each over days 14 and 15 as they trade wins in their bouts against each other - again a real possibility), then Totistsuumi could actually win the Yusho without a play-off. Or, we could be in the farcial position where all the above takes place, except that Hokutoriki wins both his last twom bouts, and we have a Tokitsuumi v Hokutoriki playoff. Lol ;0)
Fujisan 533 Posted January 19, 2006 Asashoryu has been here before and despite all the speculation hes gonna win again. (On the banzuke...) (On cloud nine...) (Alien stuff...)
Yangnomazuma 79 Posted January 19, 2006 I've always been a big FAN of a LARGE kettei-san. Every time I think it might happen, I'm usually disappointed with a two person kettei-san or an outright yusho. Is this the basho, after quite a while, where we get a 3- or 4-man kettei-san? I'll be pulling for one....
Doitsuyama 1,192 Posted January 19, 2006 Then Osh, Asa, Tochi and Hakuho all get exactly one win each over days 14 and 15 as they trade wins in their bouts against each other - again a real possibility) That's no real possibility because Hakuho has only Kotooshu on day 15 left. The other one will be against Tokitsuumi, possibly. Or Roho.

Kasugaran 0 Posted January 19, 2006 You are all obviously forgetting Kasugaoo. He is still in it and is the dark horse! 가스가오 화이팅! 春日王頑張れ! (Dohyo-iri...) If not Kasugaoo, then Asashooryuu still has it to lose. (Although I think Kasugaoo is more likely)

aderechelsea 125 Posted January 19, 2006 now that i see it like that its probably 0-3 for Riki, 0-3 for Kotooshu, 2-1 for Azuma, 3-0 for Hakuho and 3-0 for Asa ... but this is just silly predictions that might even fall to pieces by tomorrow ....
Avitohol 0 Posted January 20, 2006 now that i see it like that its probably 0-3 for Kotooshu ... but this is just silly predictions that might even fall to pieces by tomorrow .... in fact, it's really silly predictions. (Clapping wildly...)

(Annoyed...) 0-1 and counting .... ;-) remember this one? ;-) nope .... he will end up with a 6-9 record. or should I remind you in which topic it was posted? (Laughing...) it's obvious that you don't like him. however no need to make a fool of yourself with your stipid predictions or should I say hopes. (Clapping wildly...) aderechelsea 125 Posted January 20, 2006 well ... i still am not convinced with his Sumo so my predictions are really pessimistic but i am happy to see him proving me wrong from time to time. (won't lower myself to your level anymore)
